Polls

Which film tonight, who looks after the cat over the holidays, should you switch electricity provider: some decisions are settled better by a quick vote than by an endless discussion. A MeeTiPi poll gets there fast.

What you can do

  • Three voting types: single choice, multiple choice, or ranked preference
  • Results shown live, or revealed only once closed, your choice
  • Anonymous or named voting, chosen by whoever creates the poll
  • Closed manually, or automatically once everyone has voted

In detail

Screenshot of the MeeTiPi app: Single choice

Single choice

Each member can only pick one option — the fastest way to settle things.

Screenshot of the MeeTiPi app: Multiple choice

Multiple choice

Each member answers Yes, No or Maybe to every option, independently of the others.

Screenshot of the MeeTiPi app: Ranked choice

Ranked choice

Each member ranks the options by preference rather than picking just one.

Results before or after closing

Results can stay reserved to the poll's admins until it closes, or be open to everyone from the first vote.

Anonymous voting

Results can show who voted what, or just the total per option if anonymity is on — the number of missing votes always stays visible.

How it works

  1. Create a poll and pick its voting type.
  2. Members vote in a few seconds.
  3. Close it to lock the result, or reopen it.

Good to know

A closed poll can be reopened at any time by its creator — handy if a new option needs adding after the fact.
